From the town of Tzintzuntzan, Michoacán, Juan Miguel Morales Gámez create ceramics that blur the line between fine art and storytelling. His hand-drawn black-and-white illustrations, rendered on clay surfaces with remarkable detail, feature recurring motifs such as mermaids, fish, moons, women, and symbolic elements from nature and Mexican folklore. Juan Miguel’s work tends to explore narrative and symbolic compositions with striking linear precision. His pieces include murals, wall planters, and ornamental dishes that echo his deep connection to tradition and expression.
For Fiesta Latina 2025 he will be represented by Isabel Mendoza.
