Founded in 1997 by the renowned bajo sexto virtuoso Max Baca, Los Texmaniacs have redefined Tex-Mex music by blending traditional conjunto with elements of rock, blues, and R&B. This innovative fusion earned them the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Tejano Album for their record “Borders y Bailes”. ​

The band’s lineup features Max Baca on bajo sexto, his nephew Josh Baca on accordion, Noel Hernández on electric bass, and Lorenzo Martínez on drums. Together, they create a dynamic and infectious sound that resonates with audiences worldwide. ​

Over the years, Los Texmaniacs have collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Flaco Jiménez, Los Lobos, and Rick Treviño, showcasing their versatility and broad appeal. ​
