Oliverio creates wearable embroidered textiles with cotton and linen, using traditional techniques from his home city of San Cristóbal de las Casas, in Chiapas, and incorporates modern embroidery skills. These hand-embroidered pieces are not only wearable works of art, many are also functional pieces, such as napkins, tablecloths, cup holders, and cushion covers. Oliverio will also be offering the work of 15 male and female weavers from the villages surrounding San Cristóbal.
