Where exactly is this event?

The event is held on the beautiful campus of Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM located in the southwest corner of the state in the mountains at 6,000 feet. Fiesta Latina will spread across The Gardens, located off College Avenue adjacent to Light Hall and in front of Bowden Hall and Hunter Hall.

How much does it cost?

The event is free of charge. There are a few related ticketed events.
Nosotros and Salsa dancers $12*.
Darren Cordova concert $20*.
The Tequila Testing is $20* for 10 tastes, workshops have various prices and the Saturday night concert featuring Tobias Rene is $15*.

*Price does not include the online fee.

Is there adequate parking?

Yes, there is plenty of free on-street parking as well as parking in the lot of College Avenue.

Can I bring my kids? Dogs/pets?

Kids are encouraged. There will be a Children’s Activity Tent.
Pets, other than service animals, are not allowed in the venue. Your pet will be happier at home.

I want to bring beer/alcohol, is that OK?

There is no alcohol allowed in the venue. A beer garden is provided.

Will there be seating?

There will be limited seating across the venue, available on a first come first served basis. No reserved seating. Consider bringing your own.

Can I bring a canopy or tent?

Sorry, because of a complicated and expensive underground sprinkler system, no tents or canopies will be allowed. PROTECT YOURSELF…BRING SUNSCREEN!

Can I buy food/drinks there?

Yes. There is a Food Court.

The Fiesta Food Court will have a variety of ethnic food for sale.
